Social health care services in private and public hospitals and clinics. EU holders get free care in public hospitals with the European Card for Sickness Insurance.
No vaccinations necessary

Customs and Visas
EU passport holder can travel freely to and from Portugal. Other nationalities need a Schengen Visa to travel in Portugal. A Schengen visa allows the holder to travel freely within the Schengen countries for a maximum stay of up to 90 days in a 6 month period.

Weather
Portugal - maritime temperate; cool and rainy in the north and warmer and drier in the south.

Sun burn
The sun is reasonably mild, but we recommend that all clients put on sun block above factor 30 and wear a hat when in the sun.

Eating out
Dining in one of the many restaurants in Portugal is a culinary delight and value for money. All tastes are catered for ranging from local dishes to international cuisine. Not to mention our world famous wines.

Communications
Portugal cellular networks operate to the GSM 3G Quadriband. Internet and e-mail facilities are widely available and most hotels offer ADSL internet access.
